DATES & TIMES

  • February 16 through May 3, 2022 February 9 – April 28, 2022
    • Dates have been modified due to earlier than usual scheduling of the Nat’l Assoc. of REALTORS® Annual Legislative Meeting in Washington DC.
    • Also, first few weeks of class do not follow our usual Tues/Thurs shedule due to a scheduling conflict with an evening Brokers course our instructor is committed to teaching
    • In order to keep this course to 12 weeks, we have added an additional full day Saturday session. Please note all weekend sessions on your calendar to ensure you schedule those dates off from any work or social obligations!
  • Each session is 4 hours long with a 20 minute break in between
    • Evening sessions meet from 6:00pm – 10:00pm
    • Saturday sessions meet 8:30am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm – 5:30pm

LOCATION

  • All classes will be held LIVE but virtually via Zoom
    • Convenient and simple
  • Please note: Final Exam will be administered LIVE, IN-PERSON at the Golden Isles Assoc. of REALTOR® located at 1801 Gloucester Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520
    • Plan accordingly!!!
  • Remote classroom follow similar requirements for attendance as regular classroom rules  (See Below)

TUITION

  • Regular tuition: $525.00 (Early Bird tuition of $495.00 effective until 12/31/21)
  • Includes textbook, all class resources/supplements, and the FULL WEEKEND CRAM SESSION
  • Tuition is non-refundable once session has begun (including orientation). A registered student may withdraw his/her registration with written notice to School no later than one day PRIOR to the start of session and receive a full refund.

REQUIREMENTS

  • As this is a live virtual class, all students must have a device OTHER THAN THEIR PHONES with which to attend classes
    • All devices must have a working camera & mic
    • Students must be visible to the instructor at all time with mic active for participation
    • Students must download the ZOOM app on their laptop/desktop/tablet and be familiar with features and functions of ZOOM prior to the start of class
  • There are other components to the class which will require students to access the classroom website, download, markup, and/or upload PDF files (which is an essential part of doing real estate), work with various online and mobile applications as part of the learning process
  • Student must attend each session from a closed, STATIONARY environment with no visual or noise distractions in the background
    • Any student who moves about or otherwise creates visual or noise distractions to other students will be ejected from the classroom
    • Any student trying to attend class from a moving vehicle (whether or not they are driving) will be ejected from the classroom and once ejected, Zoom will not allow student to re-enter.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Your instructor for this course is Midi Shaw – teaching real estate prelicense, brokers, continuing education and professional development courses since 2006. Knowledgable and realistic about the industry with a no-nonsense, hands-on approach, she makes her classes as relevant, interesting and entertaining as possible for an all-around exceptional learning experience.

Midi is the Director of Real Estate Performance Center and works closely with the Golden Isles Association of REALTORS®, partnering with them to provide CE classes as well as other training sessions for members. She is also affiliated with Capitus Learning (a subsidiary of the Atlanta Board of REALTORS®) as one of their Brokers Course instructors.
